Job Summary
Independent sales rep: a subcontractor of Emerciv. As a Sales Representative for Emerciv your position will include pre-sales, sales, and post-sales support.
- Pre-sales includes research, networking, attending events, and promoting the community portal.
- Sales include but are not limited to signing up the customer for portal services.
- Post-sales include but is not limited to providing support for sold services, maximizing the use of portal services paid and free, as well as providing appropriate training and demonstrations.
Summary of essential job functions
Typical activities include:
- Demonstrating and presenting the portal features to clients.
- Developing effective sales plans and goals.
- Complete training when new products and features are released.
- Assist customers to maximize all the portal features.
- Meet sales goals set jointly with your sales manager.
- When new features are released current portal clients should be contacted for additional sales.
- Understand clients changing needs and how the portal can meet them.
- Provide feedback to your sales manager regarding customers and features.
- Identify and develop new clients and business leads through networking, follow-up calls and cold calls.
- Provide advice and technical assistance to clients on all aspects of services provided.
- Maintain relationship with current customers.
- Write proposals, reports and sales supportive literature.
- Continually review client's needs to identify opportunities for further sales and new development areas.
Minimum requirements
• High School Diploma.
• Bachelors in Marketing preferred.
• Previous sales experience.
• Knowledge of Technology, Internet, and Software.
Abilities required
Must have a valid driver license, reliable vehicle and insurance.
